My Favorite Supplement Brands
The vitamins and supplements market is overflowing with brands claiming to be the best, but over the years, I’ve discovered that not all supplements are created equal. It’s also important to stay informed about which clean brands have been acquired by major corporations, as this can impact their quality and transparency. Here are some of my favorites.
Just Ingredients - NEW I have been so impressed with the supplements from JI. They were created with Dr Josh Redd and you can not go wrong with any of them. We love the Vitamin D, NAD, Adrenal, Magnesium, Brain Support, and she is launching some new ones for Thyroid support, Perimenopause and more for Black Friday. She only use the cleanest ingredients and we have big fans of all her products for a long time. Especially the protein powder.
Mary Ruth Probiotics - These are the easiest supplement to take, especially if you do not want to swallow pills! They taste like water so the kids have no problem taking them as well! They have a full line and lots of liquid options.
Nordic Natrurals Omega- This is a great brand without the fishy after taste! Nordic Naturals was ranked #1 out of the top 10 fish oil brands in Norway for highest concentration, freshness, and purity. Omegas are very important to your overall health but especially if you have heart issues like high blood pressure.
Pure Encapsulations- This is my usual “go to” brand. Their professional grade products undergo strict testing before they are released. They have independent labs that certify their sourced ingredients, science, and final products for potency and purity. They make sure to prevent ingredient cross-contamination by flagging allergen containing ingredients. ALL of their products base free from unnecessary additives, artificial colors, coatings, GMOs, nuts & peanuts, gluten, wheat, soy, eggs, trans fat, and hydrogenated oils. *I’ve recently learned that Nestle Corporation purchased PE. If you do not want to support big corporations, you may want to try a different brand like….
Metagenics-I’ve just recently come across this brand and I have been really impressed with their transparency and testing processes. They take a lot of pride in the potency of their products. Check out their website to see the testing process they use. I will be ordering more from them for sure.
EastWest - I learned about these vitamins from my Doctor, Dr Taz, who I met after hearing her on the GOOP Podcast. She has formulated her own brand, EastWest® by combining the best knowledge from two worlds: cutting-edge Western scientific medicine and centuries-old, nature-based Eastern traditions. I love this concept and ordered the Boost, Lush locks and The Defender so far.
