Our Baseball Life
I created OurBaseballLife.com after my husband, Rick got traded from the Royals to the Braves in 2010. We didn’t expect to be traded, so when he called to tell me minutes before the deadline, I was shocked! I was newly pregnant, we had 2 big dogs and Rick was leaving on an 8am flight. I knew nothing about Atlanta! Where is the stadium? Where does family pick up tickets? I needed a new doctor and a place to live! There were so many questions and not enough answers. So I thought, there needs to be a place where MLB families can find this info quickly and so OurBaseballLife.com was born! Now 10+ years later, I’ve added two partners (Paige Murphy & Alysa Bajenaru), 2,000+ members, a podcast and The Our Baseball Life Foundation! I’m really proud of what we have built!
